Thank you for your interest in St. Theodore School!
Focused on Faith in Christ, Strength in Community, Excellence in Education and Joy in Service, St. Theodore school has educated students from the Flint Hill area for over 125. years. It is our hope that all of our students and their families come to find a second home at St. Theodore; a place where they know that they are loved and cared for. We consider it our greatest honor to partner with parents to help form their children into the people God is calling them to be. Today, building on the solid foundation of those who have gone before us, our school is stronger than ever.
Jesus is truly the reason for our school. He is the unseen but ever present teacher in our classes, the model for our faculty, the strength of our parents and the inspiration for our students. With Christ at the center of our school students are daily invited into a deeper relationship with Him and prepared to follow Him as lifelong disciples. In fact, studies show that students who attend Catholic Schools are more likely to attend church as adults when compared to students who do not attend Catholic schools.
St. Theodore isn't just another school, we are a second home. We take our place beside your family as a loving and nurturing community where students can come to grow into their full potential as children of God, while forming lifelong friendships. Following the teachings of our Catholic faith, we believe that parents are the first teachers of their children and we seek to partner with parents to help educate each individual student according to each student's needs, rather than replace the sacred gift of parenthood.
St. Theodore promotes a culture of excellence that encourages students to set high standards for themselves. Using the best practices in education, including STEM, hands-on activities, student led learning, and individualized instruction, students are well equipped for high school and beyond.
We further believe that knowledge is not to be considered simply as a means of material prosperity and success, but rather as a call to serve and to be responsible for others. Students are encouraged to use their skills and talents in imitation of Christ who came not to be served but to serve (Matthew 20:28).
We encourage anyone interested in joining our school family to contact our parish office at (636) 639 - 1358 or to email our principal, Mrs. Kathy Lause, principal@sainttheodore.org to schedule a tour.
